What is the ARC Committee?
ARC stands for Architectural Review Committee. The ARC is responsible for the community standards for paint colors, landscaping, and general neighborhood appearance. The ARC is also responsible for enforcing those standards in order to maintain and increase our property values.
It is necessary for you to use the ARC Approval Request Form for any alteration, such as repainting, major landscaping changes, fences, playsets, new roofs, pools, etc., that are permitted or allowed by the Covenants and Bylaws and/or the Design Standards.
This applies to any exterior change to a lot, even if in the backyard. Please abide by our Covenants and fill out an Approval Request Form before starting any project. You can also use the request form to seek consultation from the ARC committee. They are more than happy talk through your project, even offering helpful suggestions on how to stay within guidelines, before you proceed too far into the project.
What docs are important to me?
The covenants and bylaws form the basis for all individual and community guidelines, so all residents should be familiar with those. However, the documents most specific to exterior housing projects are the Design Guidelines and the ARC Approval Request Form.
Design Guidelines
The Design Guidelines clearly identify the approved community standards for the upkeep and upgrading of your home’s exterior.
Approval Request Form
Complete the online ARC Approval Request Form to either get approval or consult with the ARC Committee on upcoming exterior projects.
